For example, there was one time at my bfs house where he served me a filo dish. To me, it tasted like I was eating a mouthful of salt with a dash of … The actual meal flavouring. My bf and his parents used to smoke and they didnt notice the … Overwhelming sodium content. But then again, apparently filo food is always salty as my filo friend has told me. But I dont think its the case. Ive tried other filo dishes and theyre just fine.
Although I picked up that if the dish isnt salty, they lather rice in the dish juices/soup whatever you want to call it.

Another example brings me to my dad and my sister. They like their food very salty. Especially my dad. Im actually not too sure about my sister… but im still pretty sure she likes more salt than me or my mum.

I would like to think that people’s intake has got to do with more than just personal taste… because the salt content my bf eats in one serving burns my tongue.

Why dont YOU try observing this? I’m pretty sure smoking effects people’s tastebuds in some way.

Tell me what you think. I may be just intolerable to lots of salt if theres no sugar lathering, lol

To be honest, I have always hated fake nails. They make me form an idea or perspective of a person. To me, when I see any girl with any type of fake nails, I immediately portray them as someone with a very laid back life. Someone who… does not know how to use the washing machine – let alone turn it on, know how to get down and greasy with any type of house work or outdoor work or ANY work at that!

I’ll admit I’m quite a bitch when it comes to my own housework or outdoor work – I like things to be cleaned properly or don’t do it at all. Okay, I still get told off by my mum when I do these things, but I’m efficient.

Anyway. Acrylic nails.

Some are nice. I’ll admit. They are nice and they look real. Although. If you’re worried about damaging them…. I’d imagine you’d do some slacking off in doing chores.

Okay. I am not some person who is into the whole history 1950s stuff where women should be in the kitchen. Everyone should at least help around the house, is all I’m saying. And when I see huge square and evidently fake manicures… its like… What the fuck? They look gross! Why do it if they don’t look real? Is it because nail polish ruins your nails? Girl, I’m sure the glue equally does some damage.

I was on the train, and a girl had these huge square french manicure nails (I fail at these jargon) and typing away on her Iphone. She looked so silly. I’m sure guys (who don’t have a fake nail fetish or whatnot) would absolutely not think they look nice at all. If your girl friends say its nice… theyre lying. You cant even find any photos on the web with these types of nails that I’m talking about! …Either that or I don’t know what to type into google…

For example…

I don’t know how your thumbs look like, but putting these on (I’m pretty sure these are done at the actual nail salon for it to look this weird), you get these abnormal bulge on ur nail… HOWEVER. Imagine this bulge… but fatter. I see HEAPS and countless or women have these types of bulge on EVERY. SINGLE. NAIL. They look abnormal, weird and cheap… fake… and well… weird. Say cheap – but it probably cost at least 30$ to get them done.

These annoy the hell outta me. WHY WOULD YOU DO IT TO YOURSELF?! Get them stick on ones! They don’t last as long, but at least they don’t make you look like some kind of drag queen that epically failed at applying fake nails and instead layered them… And theyre square and long… How annoying.

My sister gets them done sometimes… I find it weird. She never does any house work when she gets them… scratch that. she does LESS housework than she normally does (which is usually nothing anyway) but … omg. Looking at her grab things looks so annoying! She says the nails aren’t in her way but… urgh.

Is it just me that feels this way? That bulge and squareness of it pisses me off. Sometimes I just want to ask the person, WTF? But I can’t cos they’ll probably be able to poke out my eyes with their nails…

I can’t control my urges when it comes to ebay. There’s just too many things!

My boyfriend asks me what I want because he always wants to buy me something and usually, at the time he asks, it usually is in fact, nothing. Although, after saying it, and some minutes pass, i start thinking about what i want.

Sure, majority of the time i do say nothing because I’d rather him save his money for his future rather than spend his money on me and buy me something that i want right now but dont exactly need or want in the future. He’s such a sweetheart. But even when i do tell him what i want, he forgets anyway.

I went to sleep thinking about what I want in regards to buying the tangible.

Waterproof camera, a PU leather jacket (because real ones are too expensive, lol), the babydoll sword a and the 8 piece Cloud buster sword.

As to date, those are the only things that i can recall that I’ve really wanted but had never gotten. The cheapest would have to be the jacket, but i’m just picky with the style and design so that’s one reason why that want has never been achieved.

Do you think when the times comes when you really want “nothing” and mean it, would it mean you’re truly happy with the things you have? Tangible wise, anyway? By that time, maybe only the things where “its the thought that counts” will truly begin to mean something instead of bringing that little spark of disappointment when you receive a gift.

I know i got those feelings. That disappointment part. Although happy with what i got, the disappointment feelings are still there. Not sure why as I wouldnt know what i want anyway.

…Guess that just comes as being a woman? Indecisive but takes everything anyway.

I watched Suckerpunch with my boyfriend a few days ago – movie was good. Loved the action – i was abit slow in terms of understanding the story line, half the time i was jst like “what?” and “what happened?” to my boyfriend, lol. poor him.

But throughout the entire movie.. My eyes were pinned on Babydoll’s weapons.

Her sword… is omfg… DROOOOOLS. I love it. Im in love with it. I would trade all my swords for that single sword…except all my swords are kinda worth more than that single sword… Okay. How about… I will trade half my swords for it! Excluding the one my bf got me… lol. I love you, David ahahha

To make things worse, i played Iris online more than i studied yesterday. My character Moonbelle is a barbarian who uses dual swords. When i first logged in yesterday, i was super duper determined to lvel up to 35 cos i had a weapon that was +7 upgraded for lvl 35 and use it in battlefield >:)
…and omg. there was double battlepoints toooooo. weeeeeeeeeee. i played around 12 or something. Battlefields, that is. got from 28k to 38k battlepoints yesterday. Stayed up until 1am, rofl.
There was also a few times where the server crashed…
i swear, the only good thing about the crash was… okay, heres what happened.
I had a quest to do at hidden cave. That quest was enough for me to level to 35. I bought a scroll for hidden cave… did my quest and shit. And turned out that i didnt buy a town scroll -.-
whilst i was making my way on foot to terminus…the server crashed!!!!
…logged back in and i was in terminus with my quest done. FUCK YEAH! saved me walking time…

I wonder how many people would even know wtf im going on about?

And so i thought, COOL! and considering how i have a thing for drawing on myself (in the past.. lol) i thought i’d start doing it again! i didnt have any paint or anything though… lucky for me, my sister came home and wanted to go coles… so off i went with her!

- no face paints in the $2 store nor coles… but there was face crayons? lol

ROFL. i know it aint as good as that other chick’s one, but i had fun drawing on myself. It was kinda hard, cos the crayon would mix together and turn pink or blk. it was somewhat like oil pastels… try using that and drawing over ur face >:) Didnt help that the ends were ssquare and broke easily… it didnt blend well onto either… and thats why u can still see my skin under the white. YES im finding reasons to why my job didnt turn out as well as the other chick’s! but it looked like she used a brush… andyes, i also realised my lips are dry. kinda sad cos my lips in the photo pisses me off the most -.- …i didnt think they were that dry when i took photos

also… what the hell! 2000+ visitors on my sea monkeys post like 2 years ago!

I’m not even sure what I’ve blogged about this year. So I’ll recap.

- I am now studying Construction Project Management at University. It’s way intersting… the Construction part of it anyway. Economics sucks ass. I failed it… my excuse is cos of the maths. I’ve been off maths for too long, lol… and well… its economics.

- I have gazillion assignments for a first year student. One involves me going on domestic construction sites and watching the guys build a Class 1A house. It took me forever because some people either dont want a student on their site or just dont like picking up their phones. And cos its been raining recently, theyre never on site so i never catch them while theyre working.

- I did find one house. 2 stories. MASSIVE. Planning a huge pool in the backyard with an outdoor shower, an aquarium fish pond out back, a toilet/bathroom (cant remember) in all the bedrooms. This house even has an elevator -.- Mind you, this house is being built in an area with standard houses everywhere.

- My boyfriend and I hit our 1 year   I love him

- I just got into playing Iris Online, probably for a month now. I’m… addicted as hell. First day back to uni from my break – all i could think of was the game… im so fkn lame.

You know what? I’ve got a very boring life. I dont have a job. I’m trying to find a cadetship for construction but it requires almost full time study/work with only a day for uni commitments… i was planning to go part-time study @ uni next year so i can do a cadetship… and work my career from there… I was so excited before I knew of the “1 day for uni commitments”

I went brick laying today. it was boring. Shoveling is hard… i think its cos the stupid shovel weighed more than the sand/cement/lime itself and the barrel that i had to shovel in was the same height as my shoulders -.-

Oh. I entered a skin care promo for St Ives’s new line Green tea products. There’s a “naturally clear green tea cleanser” and “naturally clear green tea scrub”. They’re used to clear breakouts and soothes skin. “blemish fighting solution with 100% natural green tea” (St Ives). I can personally say that… it IS soothing. I cant really comment on the breakouts/pimples part cos atm, i dont have any except for one thats been stubbornly been coming and going like as if my face is its holiday house -.-
